My Motivation to Run

Black-bear

Iowa’s wildlife is mostly boring in that unlike other parts of the country we really don’t have anything that can eat us.  Occasionally we’ll get a Mountain Lion and very rarely we’ll have a Black Bear wander out of Minnesota like the one discovered today.  The picture of the our intruder from Minnesota was taken by Terry Hovden and was located near Ridgeway in northeast Iowa.

I’ve said before that to get me to run I need a bear chasing me.  Perhaps we can get this guy to come a little further southwest.
