Treatment is Finished
I neglected to mention yesterday that Mo completed his last radiation treatment. That concludes his treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. We just have a PET scan to see where we’re at. Hopefully there is significant shrinkage with his lymph nodes. If not his oncologists suspect that it is likely scar tissue, and they may need to do another biopsy just to be certain. Then on to get his port removed. Hopefully we’ll be able to say for certain that he’s cancer free soon!
Mo is wearing the mask he had to wear during radiation treatments, and they had to bolt it to the table so he would remain very still. Yikes! I’m not claustrophobic, but I can’t even imagine that. At least it was only 15 minutes at the time
