My Interview on WHO Radio

[ 0 ] December 5, 2012 |

I was on WHO Radio 1040AM this afternoon in Des Moines, IA on the Simon Conway Show to discuss the Iowa GOP Ames Straw Poll that has been held before every contested Iowa Caucus since 1979.  It has become quite a fixture in Iowa politics – consider it the Woodstock (minus the drug usage and lewdness) of presidential politics.  My friend Jamie Johnson hosted and asked me to come on.

One thing I learned from the experience.  Since we were taking phone calls I was wearing a headset something I normally don’t do when I’m on the radio.  My head set was turned up and that evidently caused me to talk really soft.  Jamie asked me why I was whispering – I had no idea!

So if you are ever on the radio be sure to turn the headset volume DOWN.
