Biden Exits Presidential Race
Democrats seem poised to coronate Vice President Kamala Harris as President Biden's successor, but they shouldn't.
President Joe Biden exits the presidential race marking only the second time in U.S. history an incumbent president declines to run for re-election. He made the right decision, but, a decision best made before the primaries and he was the presumptive nominee.
So I’m not giving him “country first” props as I’ve seen some provide.
His fundraising tanked after the first debate, and polling got even worse. I am confident that if Democrats and their media allies believed he could win, they would have propped him up.
In terms of the oldest presumptive presidential nominee in our history, Democrats have been unscrupulous.
Everyone saw the decline, but his allies and the media gaslit anyone who pointed what was obvious. But we were told not to believe our lying eyes.
That is until they could no longer cover up the decline.
Frankly, I think he shouldn’t just pull out of the race, but he should also resign.
Now, Biden wants to hand the reins over to Vice President Kamala Harris, which is understandable since she is the Vice President.
It seems like Democrats are clearing the field to avoid a brokered convention and make her the nominee.
That would be a mistake.
